Angelo Lobo’s love affair with filmmaking started with a VHS shoulder cam and a trip to Disneyland. Not yet ten, he was already tracking the action, insisting on capturing every moment, never knowing that years later, he’d be chasing the same magic on pro sets. Unable to go to film school, Angelo turned background work into his classroom. He complimented each angle, each line, each shout of “action” with the attention of a future director and the enthusiasm of a natural-born storyteller.
From student films and TV at Stu Segal Studios to writing his own scripts, Angelo has never been afraid of the grind under the glitz. Quiet observation turned into creative instinct. Residual scripts turned into blueprints. Every day on set was a step closer to finding his voice, not just as an actor, but as a filmmaker and writer with something to say.
Being on set is not just part of the job, it’s where the dream is, where vision meets craft, and stories begin to shape.
